Megan Hughes, Piano Teacher

"Alex has a sure eye for the moving body and knows how to get it to move better. "

Steve Correl, Tango Dancer

"Eight years ago I discovered Gyrotonic movement education with Alex Ballard. Alex spent decades as a professional ballet dancer, principal, and ballet master. Gyro is his medium to get through to me, a sort of cross-training in movement and proprioception. He helped me move more like a dancer, less like accreted decades of a desk job and the usual workouts Wholeheartedly recommended."

Kimberly Berg: Rock Steady Boxing

"Alex really knows his stuff. He has a lifetime of being a dancer, choreographer and director. You can imagine the injured athletes he's helped along the way. He is patient and really knows how to modify for the frailest client to the strongest athlete just wanting (needing) to move better. You don't have to be a dancer to see him, he loves working with everyone. Check it out! "
